Life is truly wonderful – filled with ups and downs,
highs and lows, joys and sorrows. It is both an individual
journey and a shared experience. We walk the path of humanity
together, regardless of age, race or economic status. Each of us is
seeking encouragement, support and healing. Wellpath believes
that to improve the life of one child is to improve the condition of
our collective human family. Our focus on family wellness
defines a clear message for our professional caregivers – to give
new hope through treatment and support. In this sense, they
are “HopeGivers”. You, too, can be a
HopeGiver – helping make a difference in the lives of thousands of
local children and families by helping us keep them safe, healthy
and happy together.
Our HopeGivers Partnership
is comprised of generous donors from our community who commit to an
annual gift of $500 or more. I ask that you consider giving a
gift of hope to enable new programs and new partnerships that help
children and families when they need it most.

Len & Maribeth Mecca
Wellpath HopeGivers
“Over
the years, we have watched Wellpath grow and help more people in
different communities. The staff works tirelessly and they’re so
committed. It’s inspiring.
This really came to light for us when we were invited to learn
about a new group home and the kids it was going to help. When
the kids moved in, we went over and spent some time with them.
Here were these really troubled and abused kids. They walked in
and didn’t even have a suitcase. Everything they owned – every
worldly possession – was packed in little, black trash bags. It
really hit home for us that we are so fortunate, and that our
own kids are so fortunate. Our first grandchild was born just
four months ago. Yet this kind of need goes on all around us –
day in and day out.
To help in some small way is an obligation. I wish that we all
could do more.” |

Our Approach to
Caring When children are having behavioral and emotional
problems, these problems affect the whole family. Wellpath
advocates that behavioral health treatment for children is most
effective when parents and caregivers participate and there is
collaboration with teachers and pediatricians. Our treatment
and support includes and involves all family members to
understand the problems and determine solutions that work for
everyone. Therapy is more effective when the clinician,
doctor, nurse, teacher, child and family are working collectively.
We can be successful in reaching our goal of keeping more children
and families safe, healthy and happy together.
Wellpath provides accessibility to its services
through convenient locations and appointment times, through
community outreach and delivery of out-of-office services, and
through linguistic and cultural competencies among its clinical and
support staff.
