Management Opportunities

  Team Leader EMPSposition will cover the Danbury and Torrington areas.  This position will provide comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans and treatment of children, adolescents and families.  This includes evaluation/assessment; home and community based services; outreach; case and care management; individual, group and family therapies, as well as crisis intervention.  The Team Leader will supervise the day to day activities of assigned staff/interns and assist in the development and implementation of the EMPS program for all Wellpath service areas. Qualifications:  A master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or social work and a Connecticut license as a Marriage and Family Therapist or Social Worker.  Two years post graduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents or families is required, four years experience is preferred.   

Clinical Opportunities  

-          BILINGUAL Family Support Specialist (EMPS) - seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Family Support Specialist to work within Mobile Crisis (EMPS) Program.  This position will work in both Danbury and Torrington.  Supportive, professional, team atmosphere in which to assist with crisis assessments, treatment planning and stabilization. Services provided in community and at the clinic in the Greater Waterbury, Torrington and Danbury areas. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree within the Human Services field with experience working with children and families. Must be team player with effective communication skills. Flexible schedule including the possibility of evenings and weekends.  (NEW POSITION)  

Crisis Clinician EMPS - To implement treatment plans (primarily crisis stabilization plans) that may include psychotherapy and clinically required support services including but not limited to translation, advocacy and linkage to other needed services.  To provide community based outreach and treatment services as defined by the treatment plan and/or client need, in a variety of settings including but not limited to: agency offices sites, client homes, schools, emergency rooms, shelters, police stations, etc.    .  This may include providing pager cover after-hours, on weekends and/or on Holidays and/or ‘back-up’ of  assigned after-hour staff, as designated by the supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: A master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or social work with at least a one year clinical internship working with children and/or adolescents or families is required and/or a Connecticut license as a Professional Counselor will be considered. 

Care Coordinator – Full time position.  Care Coordinators provide service brokerage, linkages, coordination, follow-up and advocacy. Care Coordinators utilize strength-based, family-driven, youth-guided, culturally responsive principles to develop individualized, therapeutic relationships with families. The purpose of Care Coordination is to ensure that multiple services are delivered in a coordinated and therapeutic manner, and that they can move through the system of services in accordance with their changing needs. Requirements: A college degree (BA, BS or BSW) or (MA, MS, MSW, MFT) in a human service field (e.g., social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or psychology, etc.).  Valid CT Driver’s License required.  

Child Care Worker – Paladin House – Part time, Friday 2nd shift, Saturday 1st shift, Sunday 2nd shift, Monday 2nd shift. Requires Bachelor’s Degree and have the ability to obtain and maintain both Med Cert and TCI certification are required.
