Wellpath (formerly known as The Child Guidance Clinic of Greater Waterbury) has grown to become a regional provider that helps over 6,000 children, adolescents and families each year through an array of treatment and prevention programs. Our performance and outcome-oriented programs empower families and help keep them together with their children.

Our Approach

When children are having behavioral and emotional problems, these problems affect the whole family. Wellpath advocates that behavioral health treatment for children is most effective when parents and caregivers participate and there is collaboration with teachers and pediatricians. Our treatment and support includes and involves all family members to understand the problems and determine solutions that work for everyone. Therapy is more effective when the clinician, doctor, nurse, teacher, child and family are working collectively. We can be successful in reaching our goal of keeping more children and families safe, healthy and happy together.

Our mission is to promote the well-being of children and families by providing comprehensive and innovative behavioral health treatment and support. Our vision is to be a catalyst for children and families to lead safe, healthy and productive lives.
